Marquita Richey

My name is Marquita Richey, and I served on the first D.A.R.E. Youth Advisory Board from 2000-2002. 

I am very honored to say that I was a recipient for the National D.A.R.E. Scholarship in 2002.  I am currently finishing up my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Mississippi State University.  Upon completing my degree, I plan to teach at a near by school in Lee County, Mississippi.

I am also very honored to say that I am still involved with D.A.R.E. in Lee County.  I have been able to attend D.A.R.E. graduations for the 5th and 6th graders, and  during the summers, I have helped with D.A.R.E. camps and other activities. 

I plan to continue my involvement with D.A.R.E. I think the program is awesome, and I am glad to be apart of the D.A.R.E family.
