Hip-Hop ConnXion
The HHC was created by Suavé in March 1999. The mission statement of the HHC is “Our Future Is Here Today”. HHC was put together for the purposes of advancing the hip hop skill level of potentially talented, young dancers. Through training, dedication and commitment, those picked would help promote hip hop through the surrounding suburbs of Chicago. The Hip Hop ConnXion family also consists of the Hip Hop Force Advanced team and the under 13 year old dance troupe, Future Force.The HHC has locations nationwide to help spread their mission. They have performed at numerous charity, school and promotional events, including youth outreach programs, and they have competed all over the country, recently taking 2nd place in the 2004 USA Hip Hop Championship and 5th place in the World Hip Hop Championships in Los Angeles. The HHC strives to achieve the following goals. -To carry across the positive message of dance.-To warn youths of the negative influences of drugs. -To promote education. -To build self esteem.
