Kelly has enjoyed her career as a dancer, performer and dance instructor for over 20 years. It was her love for dance education that brought her to the Washington, D.C. area where she earned her Masters of Dance from American University.

She began dancing at the age of three with the Syracuse Ballet Theatre. She studied ballet extensively with American Ballet Theatre, The School of American Ballet, The Hartford Ballet, The Syracuse Ballet Theatre, Joe Tremain’s Dance Studio in Los Angeles, and Te Academy of the Performing Arts in San Diego, CA.  

Kelly had the pleasure of training with internationally known instructors such as Peter Martins, Patricia McBride and Helgi Thomson with New York City Ballets Summer performing arts program. She enjoyed many years of performance opportunities with dance companies such as CityDance Ensemble, Jazz Dance. dc, Tony Powell Music and Movement and in venues such as SPAC in Saratoga Springs with the New York City Ballet as well as at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

Kelly is A.C.E. certified and is an R.Y.T yoga instructor. She is the owner of Healthy Now LLC, an organization that brings wellness to families nationwide and in her community.

She started working for D.A.R.E. in 2003 and continues to enjoy her work with the D.A.R.E. Dance Program bringing free dance classes to public schools in Washington, D.C. and Chicago.  Working for such a wonderful non-profit organization such as D.A.R.E. America is one of the most fulfilling and rewarding jobs she could have ever imagined having.
